Terms & Conditions
LEGAL
Last updated: 3rd October 2026
Please read these terms before using our website or buying from us. They explain the rules for using the site, what you get when you buy, how payments and cancellations work, and what happens if something goes wrong. By using the website or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
1. About us
This website, www.laurieburrows.com, is run by Laurie Burrows LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13162678. Our registered office is Bankside 300 Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 0LB, United Kingdom.
You can contact us by emailing hello@laurieburrows.com. If we need to contact you, we'll use the email address or phone number you gave us.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Laurie Burrows LTD. "You" means the person using the website or buying from us.
2. Other terms that apply
These terms also refer to, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer.
Some of our services have their own agreement, for example done-for-you services, 1:1 work and some high-ticket programmes. If you sign a separate agreement with us (or with our sister company, Ascendia OS Ltd), that agreement applies to that service, and if it conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement wins. Ascendia OS software is provided by Ascendia OS Ltd under its own terms.
3. Are you a consumer or a business?
Most of our customers buy for their business. Some parts of these terms apply differently depending on whether you're a consumer (buying wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession) or a business customer. Where something only applies to one or the other, we say so. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
You must be 18 or over to buy from us.
4. Using our website
You may use our website for your own personal or business information. You must not:
- use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems or other people's accounts;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or scrape, copy or harvest content or data using automated tools;
- use our content to train artificial intelligence models, or feed paid content into AI tools to recreate or resell it;
- share your log-in details or give anyone else access to your account.
We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error free. We may update, suspend or remove any part of it at any time.
5. Our intellectual property
Everything on our website and in our products is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. This includes our courses, videos, workbooks, templates, frameworks, prompts, emails, branding, text, graphics and the look and feel of the site.
When you buy a product, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own business. You can use templates, swipe files and prompts we provide in your own business and marketing. You must not:
- share, resell, sublicense or give away our content or your log-in;
- copy, record, download (unless we provide a download) or republish our content;
- use our materials to create a competing course, programme, product or service;
- teach our frameworks or content to others as your own, or remove our copyright notices.
If you break these rules, we may remove your access without a refund and take further action to protect our rights.
6. Buying from us
We sell a range of products and services, including on-demand digital courses and products, memberships, group programmes, live events and challenges, coaching and mentoring, and done-for-you marketing services. The product page or checkout will tell you what's included, the price, how and when you'll get access, how long access lasts and any payment plan.
When you place an order, you'll get an email confirming it. A contract between you and us is formed when we send that confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is no longer available, a price was clearly wrong, or we have reason to believe the order is fraudulent. If we do, we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid.
Access periods. Unless the product page says otherwise, on-demand courses and digital products come with access for as long as we continue to offer that product. If we retire a product, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can work through the content. Programmes and memberships give access for the period stated on the sales page.
Changes to products. We may update or improve our products and programmes over time, for example to keep content current. We won't make changes that significantly reduce what you paid for.
7. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the product page or checkout. We sell in more than one currency, and you'll pay in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank may charge conversion fees.
- Prices include VAT where it applies. If you're a business, your invoice will show VAT where it's charged.
- Payments are processed securely through our checkout provider (Kajabi Payments, powered by Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
- You must pay in full before you get access, unless you choose a payment plan.
Payment plans. A payment plan is a way of paying the full price in instalments. It is not a subscription and it can't be cancelled part-way through, except where you have a legal right to cancel (see section 8). By choosing a payment plan, you agree to pay every instalment on time. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and retry. If a payment is still outstanding after 7 days, we may pause your access until it's paid. Any amounts that remain unpaid are still owed, and we may take steps to recover them, including adding statutory interest for business customers.
Chargebacks. Please talk to us before raising a dispute with your bank. If you raise a chargeback for a payment that was properly due, we may suspend your access and provide your purchase and access records to the payment provider.
8. Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts Regulations give you a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days. That right works differently for different products.
Digital content (on-demand courses, digital products, templates, recordings). Your 14 days start the day after we confirm your order. However, to give you instant access, at checkout we ask you to agree that access starts straight away and to acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once access begins. If you give that consent and acknowledgement, you will not be able to cancel or get a refund once you have been given access.
Services (programmes, coaching, events, done-for-you work). Your 14 days start the day after we confirm your order. If you ask us to start the service during those 14 days (for example, by joining a programme that has already started, or booking a session within that period) and then cancel within the 14 days, we'll refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the service already provided, including any digital content you've been given access to. If the service has been fully performed within the 14 days at your request, you won't have a right to cancel.
How to cancel. Email hello@laurieburrows.com with your name, what you bought and the date you bought it, and tell us clearly that you want to cancel. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you don't have to. We'll refund you within 14 days of being told you want to cancel, using the same payment method.
Model cancellation form
To: Laurie Burrows LTD, Bankside 300 Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 0LB. Email: hello@laurieburrows.com
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following product or service: [product name]
Ordered on: [date]
Name: [your name]
Email address used to order: [email]
Date: [date]
Business customers do not have a legal right to cancel.
9. Refunds
Because our products give you instant access to our content and intellectual property, all sales are final once you have been given access, except where you have a legal right to cancel under section 8, or a legal right to a remedy because something we provided was faulty or not as described (see section 10). This applies to purchases paid in full and to payment plans.
If a specific product page offers a guarantee, the terms of that guarantee will be set out on that page and will apply in addition to this section.
10. If something goes wrong
We'll provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and our digital content will be as described. If there's a problem, please email hello@laurieburrows.com and we'll do our best to put it right quickly.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights if digital content is faulty or a service isn't performed with reasonable care and skill. These include, in summary, the right to have digital content repaired or replaced, a service repeated or fixed, or in some cases a price reduction or refund. For detailed information, visit citizensadvice.org.uk. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
11. Subscriptions and memberships
Some products renew automatically, for example monthly or annual memberships. Before you buy, we'll clearly show the price, how often you'll be charged and that payments continue until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time by emailing us or through your account (where that option is available). Cancelling stops future payments, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't refund part-used periods, except where the law requires us to. We'll send you reminders before renewals in line with UK consumer law, and if we change the price of a subscription, we'll give you notice in advance so you can cancel before the new price applies.
12. Live programmes, coaching and events
- Schedules. We'll publish dates and times for live calls, sessions and events. We may occasionally need to reschedule. If we do, we'll give as much notice as we can and provide a recording or alternative session.
- Missed sessions. If you miss a group call, you can watch the recording where one is provided. 1:1 sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, may not be rescheduled.
- Recordings. Group calls may be recorded and shared with other members of the programme. If you'd prefer not to appear, you can turn your camera off and change your display name.
- Voxer and messaging support. Where a product includes messaging support, it is available during the hours and period stated on the product page, and is not an emergency service.
- In-person events. Specific event terms (such as venue, travel and transfer rules) will be set out at booking. You're responsible for your own travel, accommodation and insurance.
13. Communities and your content
Our programmes may include online communities or group chats. Be kind, respectful and professional. You must not post anything unlawful, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, spammy or that infringes anyone else's rights, and you must not pitch or recruit other members without our permission. Keep what other members share confidential.
You keep ownership of anything you post or share with us. You give us permission to use it to run the programme. If you send us a testimonial, review, result or screenshot, we will only publish it with your permission, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
We may remove content, and suspend or remove access without a refund, if anyone breaks these rules or behaves in a way that harms other members, our team or our business.
14. Results
We share strategies and examples that have worked for us and our clients, but every business is different. We do not guarantee any particular income, results or outcome. Your results depend on many things, including your business, market, offer, effort and how you apply what you learn. Please read our Disclaimer.
15. Third-party websites and tools
Our website and products may link to, or recommend, other websites, apps and tools. We don't control them and we aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they use your data. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
16. Our responsibility to you
What we're responsible for. If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
What we don't exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.
If you're a consumer. We only supply our products for business and professional use. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. If our digital content damages a device or other digital content belonging to you because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, we'll either repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.
If you're a business customer. We exclude all implied terms, conditions and warranties to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for all claims connected with a purchase is limited to the total amount you paid us for that product or service in the 12 months before the claim.
17. Ending your access
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don't pay what you owe, or behave abusively towards our team or other members. If we end your access because you broke these terms, you won't be entitled to a refund. If we end a product or service for any other reason, we'll refund you for anything you've paid for and won't receive.
18. Events outside our control
We aren't responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as platform outages, internet failures, illness, extreme weather or government action. If this happens, we'll let you know as soon as possible and do what we can to reduce the impact.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how we do business. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you bought. For subscriptions, we'll tell you about significant changes in advance.
20. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please email hello@laurieburrows.com with "Complaint" in the subject line. We'll acknowledge it within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We hope to sort out any problem directly with you, but if you're a consumer and we can't agree, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution service or take the matter to court.
21. General
- Transferring this agreement. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We'll tell you if this happens and it won't affect your rights. You may only transfer your rights with our written permission.
- Nobody else has rights. This contract is between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
- Separate terms. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest will continue to apply.
- Delays. If we don't insist straight away that you do something, or delay taking action, that doesn't stop us doing so later.
- Entire agreement (business customers). These terms, together with any order confirmation and separate agreement, are the whole agreement between us. You agree you haven't relied on any statement not set out in them.
22. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer living outside the UK, you keep any protections that the law of your country gives you which can't be excluded. Business customers agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
